Do you want to help improve 1 billion lives
through digital health?
Curve's mission is to create technology that improves the lives of 1 billion people in mental, emotional and physical pain.
Yes you’ve heard it before, and you’ll hear it again and again and again.
It’s not a wish, it’s not a pie in the sky dream. We have the ability and sense of responsibility to achieve it. We track it and when you look at our growth - we are going to make it.
But we need your help.
Impacting the lives of 1 billion people - it’s why we show up and bring our A game every day.
Curve is a ‘Purpose Driven Social Enterprise’. This means that all profit that is created is used to impact more lives and go after our purpose. That's why we're proud to be a certified B-Corp organisation.
You’ll have a coach and a buddy, a dedicated training plan and time each week to devote to learning, skill development and career projection. We will challenge you but always encourage and direct you towards your own growth.
Every company talks about team culture, but it’s not something that happens by accident. The current Curve team culture was carefully designed and has been refined and curated over the years. The directors set out knowing the team they wanted to build and we welcome in those that match our values as people.
At Curve, you’ll be working across different projects, with different teams and project managers and getting to know the products. We are also branching out into our own products which provides further chance for variety and broader scope.
With a flat hierarchy, your voice and ideas are just as important as anyone else’s. You can access and talk to anyone in the company, all the way to the directors. You’ll even meet the directors in the interview process.
Join a diverse and multicultural team, all united by the desire to create social impact. Direct interaction & learning opportunities on daily basis across cultures, countries and people.
Our team's wellbeing comes first, that's why we let you focus on what's important and remove the stress of juggling a work-life balance. Instead of a 9-5, we believe in having flexible work hours as long as the work gets done.
Our philosophy of improving lives includes the team internally. That's why we allocate time every week for you to go the extra mile and focus on your personal wellbeing - whether through hobbies, learning or mindfulness.
The Ultimate Perk!
If we meet our goals for the year as a team, then we celebrate together as a team.
This culminates into an awesome overseas adventure together, bringing members from around the globe together.
Ask anyone at Curve - this is THE best perk you could ask for!
Does this project truly solve the life changing problems?
We believe our products will be impactful and financially sustainable into the future.
We identify who our solutions are helping, and whether these are the people who need it most.
The problems aren’t always solved with technology - what is the best way to solve this problem, with or without technology?
We assess a project opportunity around whether it actually improves lives.
Are we able to find a solution to this problem? Can we actually help?
We assess an opportunity based on the lives it impacts - are we helping the right people?
A culture of constant growth and learning.
We support each other in our personal growth. There are no stupid questions and it is ok not to know how to do something.
As individuals, we look for opportunities to improve and grow, personally and professionally.
We are greater than the sum of our parts and are the strongest when we work together.
Correcting a colleagues mistake in a supportive and constructive way.
Working on your personal coaching and training plan in between coaching sessions.
When we see a knowledge gap in a project with a partner, we educate the partner and are patient with them
Challenge the norms, whether these be industry norms, personal or societal norms or even Curve norms.
Be prepared to be questioned yourself and learn to become comfortable with being challenged.
Healthy conflict is important to growth
Respectfully challenging someone who is senior to you in the business.
When you find yourself in conflict with a colleague, listen to them, hear them out and absorb what they are saying. Don’t take it personally.
Learn each other’s conflict styles
There is no hierarchy and we are each responsible for our roles, our growth and our careers.
There are lots of ‘grey areas’ in our work. Learn to operate within these and look for opportunities.
You don’t need a title to take initiative.
Everyone has a voice and you can approach anyone with an idea or solution.
Entrepreneurship and a startup mindset stays at our core.
Two things don’t fly… blame or shame
You see an opportunity for an improvement within the business, that is outside your role but you raise it anyway.
A new team member is feeling a bit lost with something that isn’t your responsibility.
You put your hand up for a project or quarterly objective, knowing it’s usually outside your scope of work.
You look for a more cost effective way to do something, without losing the ‘start up’ pace of the business.
Don’t ship it unless you’re proud of it.
Maintain the quality of your work, no matter what you are working on.
Our products must be user focused at their core - easy to use for users, and effective for our partners
User Experience and simplicity are thoroughly tested and reviewed in each project.
If we feel a product doesn't have this key ingredient we put in extra effort to make sure it does. Sometimes at the detriment to profit!
Don’t accept ‘what we’ve always done’ if you see a better way.
